School Staff

Kindergarten - Mrs. New  rnew@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

Teaching at Cloverdale Christian gives me the tremendous opportunity to share my faith in Jesus Christ with others.  There is a wonderful sense of community and support which is evident in the relationships between staff, parents and students!  I have been teaching kindergarten at Cloverdale Christian for 4 years and each year I look forward to partnering with parents to create a positive and successful experience for each student who enters the classroom.

Grade 1 - Mrs. Walters hwalters@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

I have taught for 28 years in South Africa and 3 years at CCS. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to teach and share my faith here at CCS, in such a loving & caring environment, working with parents, children & colleagues, who love and serve Our Lord.

Grade 2- Miss Schelp     lschelp@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

A commitment to sharing the love of Jesus as well as instilling a love of learning is what has drawn me to teach at this school for close to twenty years already.  The cooperation and support of colleagues, school families and church truly makes Cloverdale Christian a caring community.

Grade 3 - Mrs. Bowker abowker@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

Grade 4 - Mrs. Pain  mpain@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

What a blessing to begin each day with devotions and the caring prayers of each child.  As I strive to prepare my students academically and spiritually for the calling God has in store for them, God also ministers to me through the love and faith of God’s precious young children and their families.  It is my pleasure to work with a Christian professional staff deeply devoted to our students and our Lord.
Grade 5 – Ms. Cheung acheung@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

It is an absolute privilege to teach in an environment where teachers and students are able to grow deeper in their relationship with God and our Savior Jesus Christ.  At Cloverdale Christian School, there is a sense of community between students, colleagues and the wider community which has been such a blessing to my life.

Grade 6 - Mrs. Peters  wpeters@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

Cloverdale Christian School has been my second “home” for almost 27 years now.  It has been a privilege to teach “God’s children”, and then an added blessing to be teaching their children years later.  As much as I enjoy teaching “in the classroom”, I get more enjoyment from being with the students in God’s great outdoors, hiking or skiing.  Some special memories have been made on these excursions.

Special Education Resource Teacher – Sue Prochnau sprochnau@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

Every day is a new adventure in learning, as we grow together at Cloverdale Christian School.   We all, staff and students, have gifts and talents to share, as well as the opportunities to provide encouragement during any struggles.     Our glorious God walks with us through each day, providing blessings along the way.   I am blessed to be part of our community, a “Christ-centered community – equipping the whole child ”.

Grade 5 – 7 French and Kindergarten Teacher – Cara Moore cmoore@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

I have had the pleasure of teaching in several different countries around the world, and know that it truly is a privilege to be able work in a school where we celebrate our relationships with each other and our God.  I look forward to not only teachable moments in the classroom, but also those special moments to show God’s love towards the students, parents, and fellow teachers.

Principal - Mr. Mayan  jmayan@cloverdalechristianschool.ca

Having taught in the public system and now in my 4th year at CCS, the difference in experiences  is profound.   Making a positive impact in the lives of children has always been my reason for entering education.  This takes on new meaning when you have the opportunity to equip students for life long learning and a life of faith- above all knowing God’s grace and love for each of his children.
